LIVESTOCK RANCHING
It is my distinct honour and privilege to welcome you to the Advances in Crop Science and Technology.

Ranching is the practice of raising herds of animals on large tracts of land. Ranchers commonly raise grazing animals such as cattle and sheep. Some ranchers also raise elk, bison, ostriches, emus, and alpacas. The ranching and livestock industry is growing faster than any other agricultural sector in the world.

Livestock Ranchers raise large animals for profit. These animals include beef and dairy cattle, goats, horses, sheep, and pigs, and Livestock Ranchers make money by breeding, selling, and/or letting them compete in shows. And the more milk your ranch produces, the more profit you make.
For cattle ranching, methane emission is the contributing factor most heavily scrutinized. Cattle ruminants produce methane through their digestive processes. This process known as enteric fermentation- is the main contributor to livestock's role in greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture.
We always encourage your research works under the scope of our Advances in Crop Science and Technology.
With regards,
