Rice Research: Open Access celebrates seven years of its reality and contribution in the scientific publication and stretches out a very warm welcome to all the possible contributors be it students, early researchers, peers and editors to contribute their original research, review of existing knowledge in the domain as well to this journal. The journal is committed to oblige its readers by adding the state of the art facilities to enhance the author’s scholarly outreach.

Established in the year 2013, Rice Research: Open Access successfully published 21 Issues. After steady progress from 2013, the journal is published on a quarterly basis. The journal is now known for itssymbiotic association with academicians, researchers and universities agencies engaged in Rice and Agricultural research. The journal has been publishing the most recent developments in the fields of rice genetics, structural and functional genomics, comparative genomics, molecular biology and physiology, molecular breeding and comparative biology as original and literature review as well.

There are 35 active Editors who are eminent in the field of Agriculture, Crop science, Plant and soil Science, Health and Nutrition, Plant protection, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Metabolomics, Phylogenetic studies, Stress physiology, Agriculture engineering, Biotechniques, Agronomy, Horticulture and Natural resource management, etc. Prof. Korkmaz Belliturk, Editor-in-Chief, currently serves as Associate professor at Faculty of Agriculture Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition Namik Kemal University, Turkey. He assumed title “MSc Engineer” in 1998 and “PhD” in 2004. He attended many conferences, meetings, courses, seminary, panels, workshops, congress and festivals at home and abroad. He was assigned to lecture for one week each within the context of Erasmus teaching staff mobility at Trakia Democritus University in Greece in 2011 and at University of Technology and Life Sciences in Poland in 2013. He was assigned for 3 months between 11 July and 11 October at “the University of Vermont” in Vermont-USA to take a part in a project called “use of soil earthworms in agriculture”. He was invited in November-December 2012 by the same university and attended some scientific collaborative studies in order to carry out projects about “vermicompost and soil earthworms” in the University of Vermont. He has 115 articles on soil science, soil ecology, plant nutrition, soil fertility, soil chemistry, soil-water pollution, ecologic agriculture and fertilization topics as research articles and papers presented in domestic and abroad scientific meetings. He won 12 months research scholarship at “The University of Vermont” in Vermont-USA for the second term of 2013 in the context of TUBITAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Scholarship Program. His research includes Soil Fertility, Plant Nutrition, Soil and Water Pollution, Soil Biology, Soil Ecology, Organic Farming, Composting and Vermicomposting.

On the eve completing successful seven years in Rice and Agricultural research publishing, the Rice Research: Open Access waives off 30% of its article processing charges to promote quality research from across the globe to encourage the research in the field of Agriculture, Crop, Food and Nutritional Research.
